Tuition Week

Penistone & District Riding Club hold a four day tuition week each summer in August.

Participants are placed into small groups with three others who are at a similar level. For the first three days there will be an hour’s instruction in the morning and and hour in the afternoon consisting of a mixture of flatwork and jumping, with some games for the younger ones. On the final day there is a small show, putting into practice what has been learned throughout the week, and participants compete against their group-mates only. Following the show there is a short presentation and award giving.  Friends and family are welcome to attend the show day.

Participants and their mounts are welcome to camp for a small additional fee. There are often activities in the evening.

The tuition week is well attended and it is advisable to secure your place early!

Dates for 2021 tuition weeks are seniors on the 3rd-6th August and Juniors on the 10th-13th August.
