Festive Frolics Fun Jumping Show
To be held on Sunday 30th November 2025 starting at 9.30
at Speetley Equestrian Centre,Rotherham Rd, Barlborough, Chesterfield S43 4TA
Festive Rosettes to 6th
£10 per class for PDRC members £12 for non members
Pairs £18/£20
Prizes if sufficient entries.
Christmas themed dress up welcomed.
Class 1 Rudolf’s Run LEAD REIN – to be run over a short course (entries £5 members, £7 non members)
Class 2 Olaf’s ‘Obble Very tiny cross poles – everyone welcome, helpers may come into the ring.
Class 3 Holly and Ivy Handicap Horse and Hound – ride the course on your horse then run round with your dog.
Section A – 13 years and under
Section B – 14 years and over
Class 4 Christmas Crackers 50cm
Class 5 Christmas Pudding Stakes 60cm
Class 6 Elves Dash Pairs – two riders – jumps approx. 70cm
Class 7 Santa’s Surprise Sweep Stakes 70cm
Class 8 Tinsel Town Tootle 80cm
Class 9 Advent Accumulator – 45secs to accumulate as many points as you can, with a double points joker fence but knock it down and you lose points!
Class 10 Star Stomp 90cm
If there’s interest, we could have a Chase Me Charlie to finish.
All classes except 3, 6 & 9 will be run single phase with the second half of the course timed and 5cm higher than the first half.
If sufficient entries classes will be split horses/ponies (adults on ponies are welcome).
Competitors doing Class 5 and under may not enter 8 or 9 on the same horse.
